I obviously haven't read the age on the ring right because I'm sure Skye is an immature male... It's a cruddy zoomed in photo because s/he is very nervous but tell me that isn't a new ring coming in!? It wasn't there before...
I know haha, I keep Asiatics. I have an Alexandrine hen that looks like she has a beard  But it's not just the faint line in the feathers it's like shadowing that has just started to come in
I agree, hens can has a very slight ring. But saying that sometimes males can take a really long time for their rings to come in. I had one that was supposed to be a female and I had her for over 2 years before she developed a full male ring thus proving she was actually a he.
Alex's are the same. My first two boys developed their rings at 14 months yet the offspring of one of those boys didn't develop their rings until they were nearly 4.
The hen Alexandrine I have has a beard almost but definitely a hen, she's laid haha! The thing is with asiatic hens they tend to just have a line almost, if that makes sense? Not so much shadowing. I don't think I'm explaining it well. When I got Skye she just had the line, now she's moulted there's a lot of shadowing
