Talk Parrots Goes Mobile!

TP is now available in mobile format using the Tapatalk app. For $2.99 you can view this forum and thousands of other forums on your phone.

I had installed Tapatalk on my other forums a few weeks ago, but ran into errors with TP and another forum. After trying again recently, I was able to install Tapatalk on that forum. Following the corrections I made with that installation, I was able to finally get Tapatalk installed for us at TP!

With that said, here's a little more about this awesome app that allows you to browse TP wherever you are!

Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. Tapatalk supports vBulletin, phpBB, IPB and SMF forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.

Showing New and Unread Thread with Avatar and Number of reply:

Images are thread are converted to thumbnail and allow full-screen viewing

Ability to see Who's Online and what they are doing:

Ability to search by topics and posts:

Ability to upload images directly from Android and iPhone!:

Awesome!! Time to add it!! I highly recommend the app for our mobile users - it's really user friendly, you can upload pics right from your device (which is a life saver lol!) and you can take TalkParrots with you wherever you go What's not to love? lol

I don't have an iPod touch or an iPhone or anything like that, though I do use my friends haha! I just use the browser on my blackberry!

This makes me soooo happy because I almost exclusively post from a mobile device. All of my pics are there too, so watch out, TPers!

So, i hate to ask a stupid question and i am sorry to be so dumb. I have a droid three and i just browse, Talk Parrots and it takes me to the site and i post just like normal. What is it about this app that would make me want to use it as opposed to the regular old way? Smart phones are not for dumb people i have found that out!!!

I find it to be a lot easier on the app than using the web browser. It's faster and easier to move through. It's a lot more user friendly. It's super easy to post pics, make new topics, etc.

Mind you ,that's with my iPhone, not a droid but I cant imagine they're too different
