Lovebirds scratching/preening too much

One of my female Lutino Lovebird is suffering from itching problem since February last year. She laid eggs and was sitting on the eggs for exactly 24 days, unfortunately the eggs were not hatched n she stopped sitting on the eggs but from that time onward she is scratching her body a lot. I took her to different vets (as no Avian vet is available here in Dubai) and they gave different treatments like multivitamins, “Sleeky” spray for flees n lice, and even Pif-Paf powder to sprinkle under her feathers. I tried all these things but no improvement is seen.
I learned from the net about flees, lice and mites, but no similar thing is visible on the feathers.
Overall bird looks healthy, eating well and poops are also normal. Only one change, i.e the male bird have developed red coloration on almost all of his body, but he is not having that itching problem, and I learned from net that his problem may be due to sunlight defficiency. That I'm trying to fix.
I feel very sorry for my female bird Lovely and want to do anything to make her comfortable, please can anyone guide me what should I do ?. I have posted my questions on various bird forums (not here)but nobody replied or helped me.
To add to your information I want to tell you all that I give my birds water for bathing regularly, i.e once a week and multivitamins once a month. I also give them fresh fruits n vegetables.

keep a careful eye on the red suffusion, its not a well known thing... some say its from a poor diet, some say its from liver disease, and some say its harmless and is just an abnormal thing, but lutinos are often affected. no one knows for sure, just keep an eye on it, he will get redder over time until he is nearly all red.

also, if this is a breeding pair, i would not allow them to breed, breeding two lutinos will produce weak young and many of the babies will die early.

they could be molting, birds who molt have new feathers growing in that are very very itchy. try offering a bath every day to see if this makes an improvement. can you get an aloe vera plant? if so, you can cut a piece off and put it in the spray bottle you bathe them with. the aloe will soothe their dry skin. a lot of birds when molting get dried skin, they get pin feathers which are really irritating, so theres a high chance of them molting :)

aloe is a very soothing plant, and it is safe if they eat it. actually, it is very good if they like to eat it as it has a lot of good properties if eaten as well. but it has vitamin E in it which soothes irritated itching skin. it can also be put on cuts, burns, rashes, etc. its also a natural antiseptic for wounds, and its soothing.

You can also buy aloe Vera sticks too! I use them on my birds cuts etc and dry skin, my hawk gets very dry legs so he gets a regular massage. It works really well :)

i'll get that information for you out of my book regarding the red suffusion :)

this is the book i got the info from, if you can get ahold of it, it is an excellent read. especially for breeders or those interested in the mutations and genetics.
