I've noticed the same!! Y'all need to get chatting! Share some cute pictures! I'll be posting some later today, so that should spark some interest (I mean, Goober's just adorable, how could she not? )

I have lots of stuff to write, but as you all are aware no way to post pictures at the moment. I feel bad writing because I am often the only one here jabbering on about my birds and stuff.

I do have lots of stories.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Share away, Nanay! I don't always respond, but I do read them all and enjoy them

I strayed home sick today and guess what I did, clean cages!Like children, the birds do not take the day off. I found my bugdies have scaley mites. More olive oil, and a call to the shop to see what they use. Will pick up Ivermectin tomorrow. Dang bugdies bite too! Now I have 3 sore fingers. Conures bite too, just Tuco to be exact. Little bugger just cannot decide if he likes me or not. Everyone else is healthy. Ya, deep cage cleaning this weekend in the tubshower. Should bleach do the trick?

Jenny,

I want to know how your lip turned out? I am under the impression it healed without getting infected or anything, but I just wonder if it bothers you.

No further problems with Goober mistaking you for your mom, right?

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Nanay - thanks for asking It healed up just fine, no infection, no problems. It healed very quickly too! It's still a little sore if I pinch it or mess with it, but it almost never bothers me.

Goober has been just fine. I went to the beach on Saturday and avoided her while I was in the bikini because it was easier to avoid than to provoke her in any way. She hasn't bitten me since!

Hehee, I agree!

I spend all my time on here! All recent posts say "by Abby" and I continue to check on here all day, hoping it won't say "by Abby" anymore, and that somebody else has been here.
