It's my biggest one. It took about 4.5 hours. I was pretty well done by the time we were through.

Looks awesome! I'm thinking of having one done in memory of Darwin at the moment but I have so many ideas for tattoos that I don't know where to start and I don't have the cash

Jill, it all depends on the individual person but I can happily say it's not bad (and I'm the biggest wuss out there, haven't had my jabs or anything). It's irritable if anything because it makes you want to flick them off your skin but other than that as soon as the machine stops touching you that goes away. After that it's just a little sore for a few days and then the dreaded itching comes in while it's healing For me that is definitely the worst part. The only one I've had done so far was some kanji on my back, however, the artist did a dreadful job. I recently saved up a bit of cash and went and got it re-done with a very cartoony cherry blossom tree around it. The tattoo is right at the bottom of my neck on the ball and honestly trying not to scratch it is hellish but trying to put cream on it was the worse because of where it was

Don't let her fool you. I'm not a wuss and there were times when it hurt like H E double hockey sticks, but it doesn't last long and once they are done it only hurts if I touch it. And the pain wasn't unbearable. If you like tats it's very worth it.

That's fabulous, good on you for finding a great artist to do it! I have seen soooooo many horribly done pet portraits, ugh, LOL. It's gorgeous
