Just bring yourself, most important is that you're there, but I suppose a bunch of flowers is not going to hurt Congrats to your sister!

Her water broke and they are not inducing her labor until tomorrow!

Do you mean she is going to have a dry birth?

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

No no there inducing labor now. Her water broke yesterday around 2 pm but it wasnt like a waterfall so I think maybe the babies head is in position that some water is still stuck in there. Why is it weird to induce labor that late

I'm sure her doctor knows what is best.
Years ago - many, many years ago - perhaps even before they induced labor, if a woman's water broke and all the fluid drained away, there could be lots of problems, but that was in my grandmother's time.
Is this your sister's first child?

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Oh, I'm sorry, I just read that post and it sounds worse than I wanted it to. I'm sure your sister is in good hands and there won't be any problems.

lol thats okay Im sure she will be., yes it is I was reading up on dry birth they said its a bit more painful but your body continues to make fluid so it wont be completely dry. Shes a big baby about pain though so I feel sorry for her once those contractions begin.

Send a message via AIM to Jenny
When my best friend had her baby, I sent her an edible arrangement for the day she got home. So she got to the house and got to stuff herself with fruit and chocolate covered strawberries She said that really hit the spot after the hospital food and was a special treat, but she loved it because it wasn't super unhealthy and didn't leave her feeling bloated or anything.

I wish her the best of luck with her delivery <3

Awe, now you've shown me something else I want to try. OH - I just remembered, I can't, lol. I'm allergic to gluten. Well, Cannary wants to know where to get cake pops.

Your sister thought her water broke but it didn't? Is that what happened? If so, I had that happen when I had my second son. I went to the hospital because I thought my water broke, but when the doctor checked, it really hadn't. He said it was urine. Sometimes when the baby moves down you loose bladder control, but you don't realize that is what it is. Maybe it was something like that?

Anyway, the baby will come out sooner or later. They always do. I bet you all are beyond ready for that at this point.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Hey so I went to see her today and I guess the placenta pulled away from the wall and so she was actually just bleeding but they thought there was fluid in it so they were inducing her but stopped, there still not sure if this is the case, were waiting for the results but shell have to stay there till the bleeding stops. I guess yesterday she went to go to the bathroom and a fountain of blood just fell out of her all over the floor, so Im a bit worried but it seems the babies doing well so I hope everythings okay.
