it was green well before these colours LOL once a video is done uploading on youtube i have a video of the storm (with munch mouthing off to it)

and i think the only reason she wasnt interested (cat) was because cats cant see the colour red lol that could be why... or destiny was more interested in her toy lol

damage: trees down the street down which took down power lines, branches down, trees down elsewhere, and some people without power still. nasty storms

That sounds real bad.
We once had a wind storm so bad we were out of school for a week because there was no power.

Wow - messy! We get storms like that almost every week down here in FL, not to mention the hurricanes... Storms like that are really unusual for you guys in CA tho. I can't imagine how scary a storm like that must be if you're not used to it

we ARE used to severe weather but not the sky being orange lol. but green skies, tornadoes, blizzards, snow storms, ice storms, winds, flooding, lightning storms, lake effect snow, snow squalls, heat waves... we get it. we had a few tornadoes last year. and in the great lakes, we commonly see water spouts (water based tornadoes). mircobursts/downbursts are common too. we were nailed by one of them last year that we had to take cover from. just as deadly as tornadoes. so bad weather is not a stranger to us. just strange orange skies are lol but we get the rain from your hurricanes lol but no hurricanes. we even get nocturnal tornadoes. a town east of us about 45 minutes away was nearly flattened by a nocturnal tornado last summer. no warnings on tv, no weather station warning. nothing. people were sleeping when it hit. people woke just as massive trees crushed their homes. miraculously, not a single person was hurt or killed. that in itself is a miracle. billion dollar damage but no casualties. but there was no warning like theres supposed to be. i was up all that night during that storm. it hit us too, just the tornado didnt touch down til it hit leamington. the Weather Network never warned anyone. they didnt say anything. and yet even without warning, people waking to the sound of the tornado in their yards or trees crushing their homes, not a single person was hurt or killed. if that aint a miracle, i dont know what is.

Wow, you get as bad as we do lol. We had a water spout form last year in the little lake in our back yard, it ripped down our screen porch and almost put a metal beam thru our sliding glass door. Really cool to watch but scary

we're in the end of tornado alley lol but we're part of canada's tornado alley. its our funny climate here. southwestern ontario. gotta love it... unpredictable. cold winters, hot summers, and strong weather at times. we dont get monstrous tornadoes, but enough to do damage. the biggest one was an F4 and it was back in the 70s

Yeah, we had a rash of 3-4 F3 & F4 tornados thru Orlando just after I moved out, one absolutely wrecked my grandparent's back yard, we're lucky it missed their house. It pulled down some oak trees that were over 100 years old, very sad
