I got a new tattoo last night (bird related!)

Haven't got any good photos of it because it wraps around so much but here's the unfinished watercolour blue and gold macaw!

When I was still sat in the chair

Some pics from when I got home

I'm so thrilled with it! My artist said it would be good to have a sleeve in water colour so I've decided on getting a completely water colour South American parrot sleeve! The next bird is either going to be a green winged or scarlet macaw I think

Just wanted to share my excitement with you all

Very exciting. I was actually thinking of getting another one myself, also bird related.

Thank you all so much! I had an appointment with my tattoo artist on Monday but unfortunately he couldn't do it Although I am healing well, I'm also healing extremely slow which he said he was certainly not willing to tattoo over (good, shows a good artist!). My appointment to get him finished is now on the 5th of November. Hopefully I will be nice and healed by then! Curse my shiny arm Will post a photo when I have had him finished off

Can't wait to see it finished. What about adding a Hyacinth? Good luck on the 5th.

It's not bad at all! That said everybody has a different pain tolerance. I never thought I could do it or get my septum pierced or stretch my ears but I have hahaha

And I was going to but I'm not sure yet. I was thinking maybe a Spix's. The one taking up a lot of room on the top of my arm will be a scarlet so I need to try and not have my whole arm covered in big blue birds I love hyacinth macaws enough to have an individual water colour one perhaps somewhere else on my body, or on my side where I have the sleeve

The first tattoo, touch up and second tattoo I have had done made me really nervous beforehand but I've become so numb recently I just quite enjoy it... How weird is that?! I just find it therapeutic. I guess with a bad history of self destructive behaviours it doesn't shock me I'm actually having this session completely free 'cause he feels bad I have to keep coming in haha

Lol awwww, that's awesome free tattoo! I don't think it's weird though that you enjoy it, a lot of people like the feeling of getting tattooed. I myself, am not one of those people, LOL.

Even though it healed beautifully and very vibrant, I've yet again got a massive, ugly, oozy arm So pleased with the outcome! We start my scarlet on December 11th from 5-7PM

Sorry for the rubbish photos, hard when you're on the bus trying to do them

It's a bit sore haha

That is really pretty with the watercolor style, I don't think I've seen one in that style before but it's also easy to see that it is sore. Heal fast so we can see the next one! Thanks for the pictures.

Thank you both! My tattooist is doing everything exceptionally cheap because he said he can't think of anybody who has a watercolour sleeve, especially a well thought out one. I'm really happy I'm finally able to start covering myself in them Today is the day I start putting bepanthen on two times a day for a week. I hate the itching!
