The thought of birds bathing reminded me

I saw someone posted about misting their birds today. And of course the first thing that came to mind was Mina---and of course that brought the tears to my eyes and the lump in my throat as I type this thinking of her again, lol. I wonder if it will ever get easier. I don't know any other way to describe it other than heartache. When I think of her, I can't bare it.

Anyway, I just thought, I hope she has been able to take her bath. She likes to takes baths in the sink. I did tell Susan (they lady that adopted Mina and Bijou) that.

I'm so sorry! I don't even know what could be said that would help. I pray that as time passes, the pain will dim a little and you'll be able to think of Mina and smile.

I'm so sorry you miss Mina so much. I totally understand how you feel. Losing a bird you loved is very hard. Can you ask your friend if you can visit Mina? I bet seeing her can make feel you feel better. Maybe you can give her a bath too. I don't think that would be weird.

Thank you. I think prayers would help.

I don't think it would be good for me to see her because I don't think I could leave her again. I also don't want to shake Mina up now that she is settling in. Not to mention I don't want to stalk this lady, lol. I don't think she signed up for that.

True. I belive with time it will get easier to cope without Mina. At first you will miss her but then you'll remember the good times you had with her.

You know in September I lost Janosch.
It's still hard for me to watch his pictures and videos.
But meanwhile I can sit in my garden beside his grave without becoming sad.
4thebirds, I hope so much that time will also heal your pain.

Yes, I can't look at her pictures either. Thank you for sharing your feelings and I am so sorry about Janosch.

At least she is still alive, well and thriving. I know it's hard. My lovebirds upset me, especially Blackjack, but knowing they're happy makes it all worth the sadness and heartache. I miss all of my companion parrots more than anybody will ever know but unfortunately I'm never going to see them, never going to hear about them etc. It hurts a lot. I have a YouTube channel FULL of videos of them and sometimes I go back and watch them all. I get really sad, but this huuuuge wave of happiness just hits me. Remember the good times! And remember you've done a really wonderful thing for her You've got three birds who all love you and that you love tremendously, they will help
