Kick Sleding

So I'm really excited because I'm saving up to get a kick sled for this winter, I'm starting training Charlie on the commands already. Sleddings something I've always really wanted to do so I'm really happy that I'm finally going to be doing it soon. Charlie has just the right confirmation for it too, really long and lean, with equal shoulder to hip height, and a well muscled chest.

For those who don't know a kick sleds like a dog sled but its meant for only 1-2 dogs to pull and is usually 10-15 lbs.

I ve got to get him an X-back harness first then the equipment but it should be a really good time for us both as Charlie loves to run.

This is the sled and harness I'm getting

Congratulations! That sounds like fun for both of you.

I have a friend who has a cart with wheels for her dogs, and she can put runners on it when there is enough snow. That is a lot of fun, too. I'm sure you get enough snow up your way that a sled will be used often.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Sadly we dont get as much snow as we used to 10 years ago but last year we got a lot, me and Charlie are going out to train right now, and when my sister gets her dog I'll train him and I can let my little niece come with us

Exactly Daisy its a great way to bond with your dog and to exercise them since you both need a lot of trust
