Happy Easter I recently started up my diet again that I did really well on in 2014 because I put all the weight back on when I started my meds so I'm soooo jealous of anybody who can eat their weight in chocolate this weekend

Happy Easter everyone. I will just have to settle for some dark chocolate with runny peppermint filling this weekend. I usually wait until after Easter to buy the eggs when they are on special. Only buy a couple for myself. Easter egg chocolate for some reason tastes different to ordinary milk chocolate and I am not a big fan of milk chocolate but I do like the occasional bit of egg chocolate.

Enjoy your dark choc with runny peppermint filling.

I like dark chocolate better, milk chocolate leaves me drinking gallons of water after I eat it. Don't get me started on white chocolate.

No easter candy or yummy jelly belly beans here but I think I got a few bites of dark chocolate stashed for emergencies.

White, that isn't even chocolate. The Milky Bar Kid has a lot to answer for.

I hate the white fake choco stuff but there is a coffee shop here called Second Cup and they make the most amazing hot white chocolate that is better then regular ole hot chocolate any day!

Sounds interesting but I still like my old fashioned hot chocolate. What I really hate is when they make hot chocolate with hot water and just add a dash of milk like making a cup of coffee or tea. Hot chocolate must be made with all milk, full cream milk. It is meant to be decadent and a little naughty.

Exactly! It has to be made with milk and a little cream and maybe some marshmallows or some whipped cream.

Make it worth our while!

I get a white chocolate mocha + vanilla from Starbucks. It's very good and very sweet!

I have never been in Starbucks ever, I've never had a starbucks coffee or product.

I don't know why.... its crazy because there is a SB's on every corner every 3 blocks up and down the street from where I live. I walk past 5 of them on my way to and from work and still haven't gone in there once.

I wanted to reply to this yesterday but could not get into the thread, or any thread for that matter. Don't know what the problem was. I could view all the headings but the threads would not open. Logged out and I could read the threads but obviously not reply. Was going to clear my cookies today but I didn't need to as I was able to view everything.

Anyway. Yes must have marshmallows on the hot chocolate. And your top lip gets coated in melted marshmallow as you drink it. A bedtime winter favourite with me.

Clearing your cache or cookies wouldn't have mattered Kate as there was a slight technical glitch yesterday that wouldn't let any of us open threads.

But we are back and happy to read about marshmallows in hot chocolate melting and stuck all over our top lip when we drink it.

Now I want a dang hot chocolate.

Glad to know it wasn't just me yesterday. When it happened yesterday morning I thought it may have just been the site down, but when it went on all day and right into late last night I thought it was me. Especially when I logged out and could read posts as a guest, but when I logged in again I still could not read any threads.

I thought it was just me as well, when I looked at the bottom of the board and saw there were a bunch of members who had come to the board all hours of the day and night but there were no new posts since before 5am that morning.

Usually there is a few new posts during the day which would show we were working okay but it wasn't the case.
