she can be a bit feisty, she takes after her father. right now shes chewing on the blinds... shes a brat, shes nosy, shes clingy, and very demanding. shes also a very one person cat. she hates my fiance. wont go near him. she runs from him when he tries to pet her. but she follows me everywhere, she meows and meows and meows if im even looking at another pet or talking to another pet... she gets jealous easily lol. her coat, though shes a longhair, is low maintenance. she has no undercoat and her coat is very silky. she does not need brushing often, but i brush all our cats anyways. shes cousin to our cat Daystar. like daystar, she wont be done growing until 2 years old. she still has to fill out.
shes our proposal kitty lol. my fiance wanted to adopt a cat from the humane society for our proposal and put the ring on the collar... but i hadnt known and i adopted gylfie from my aunt's feral cat program. so he improvised and took a photo of gylfie when she was little and put the ring on her collar and proposed with the photo lol
3 of our cats were ferals but 2 of them still have feral qualities. that be daystar and gylfie. theyre very very shy, company rarely ever sees them. daystar is the shyest. our 4th cat is a stray (difference between a feral and a stray is that ferals were born wild and never owned by humans. strays were owned once by humans.). my aunt has a feral colony she feeds and supports and gets them fixed and medicated. she adopts out kittens that are adoptable and supports the rest. both daystar and gylfie are adopted from her program and i have a special place in my heart for ferals. its hard to earn their trust. daystar took a year and a half to stop hiding around my fiance. she runs for dear life if he comes in the room, but she no longer hides. its a big improvement. im the only one who can interact with daystar. she loves bellyrubs, shes very gentle, she cuddles with me every morning. but shes the shyest cat ive ever met. ill likely always own ferals.
gylfie's father Mikey, hes a big orange and white longhair. most ferals live most up to 5 years with care, 2 years without care. mikey is about 15 by now and still strong and healthy and hes an outdoor feral. though you can pet him on his own terms. hes whacked my aunt in the face and given her a black eye, and gylfie has that same hit, she can smack you really hard lol she looks a lot like him too. ill have to find a photo of him lol
