weird wild pigeon with crest?

walking down the street, we seen a pigeon, but he had a crest. he looked to be a regular rock dove but he had a crest on the back of his head,
any idea on what it was?

Was the wind coming from his backside? Maybe it's a deformity or some crazy nature something... I don't really know though!

no the wind was not. i thought of that too, but even when he turned different directions, the crest stayed the same and the other pigeons didnt have one. and they kinda avoided this one

Have you seen budgies with the weird head crest thing? I can't explain it it's so weird. I think it's called a crested budgie.

It looks to be a variety of Fancy Pigeon or maybe even a Fancy Pigeon crossed with a normal feral pigeon. There are about 300 varieties of Fancy Pigeons. I went to a Pigeon show a few years ago and they had about 2,500 pigeons on show. I also had a couple of Modina Pigeons myself.

Check out this site, it will give you and insight of how many different varieties there are.
