I'm just wondering if everyone survived?
The winds yesterday were over 100 miles an hour in some parts of Scotland.
I saw on the news Aberdeen was bad an Rossco comes from there.
Can you guys let us all know you're ok?
And was there any damage? To aviaries etc.
Im from Dundee. About an hours drive south of Aberdeen but yes, I survived, lol. 1 lost roof tile, 1 broken 12' trampoline, a broken fence and 1 rather soggy, cold and miserable postie though. Im sure there were others but im just thinking of me, lol.
We're experiencing some bad weather now. Gusting 70 mph.
Had big bang earlier but went out cant see damage.
I think probably the wall and or shed went.
I hate this. If the Kids weren't upstairs, I'd sleep downstairs.
I'm worried about the aviary.
I pick my rescue fids up tomorrow and worse weather is on the way Thursday.
I hope we all survive the night. Especially my large tree in the garden, how I wish I'd had it topped this year.
It must be 50ft.
The frost outside is horrid! And the winds are so cold. I was walking into the town by me after college and it's literally down the road, by the time I got on the bus you could literally see that my legs were purple even through my black tights!
Lol! So cold.
Big storm tonight.
Heavy rain. Everywhere round here is flooded.
Chichester is impossible to get to without driving through floods.
Snow is to follow!
Supposed to be going to Leeds for 5 days.
We shall see!
Ive been drafted in on the nightshift this week and next so at least im not having to walk the streets just now! Nothing worse than delivering mail when its as bad as this.
Bus services get cancelled, taxis stop working, building sites get closed, schools get closed, even factories get closed, police put out warnings and ask people not to go out unless life depends on it.............but the posties always struggle on!
