It's on its way ..... although now its clear and looks a little damp out there from the light dusting we had last night that melted.

I still fear .... WINTER IS COMING!

I wouldn't complain if that was the view I had daily or when it snows ... that is truly beautiful! You live in an amazing spot.

Relax .... this is in Russia

I'm happy its not here, really what's the point in trying to dig out your vehicle?

It's not like you can drive it anywhere.
Where the heck is the road?

The white stuff is littered all over the lawns sidewalks and streets of my city ... there isn't a whole whopping heap of the stuff just less then a cm or so and I DON'T LIKE IT.

It's too white and blinding and makes my eyes cross and is giving me a headache. I DON'T LIKE IT! I hate headaches.

Grumble Grumble nag whine and complain for this fine -7C beautiful sunny snow damn day.

Have I complained enough? I hope so. heh heh

No more snow ... it seems to have melted away. GOOD ... just in time for Tuesdays intended DUMP of the white stuff we are suppose to get.

I will sit here quietly with my favorite birb and do some calming chants .... NOSNOWTODAYPLEASEANDTHANKS!

Bird doesn't agree with this no snow thing. She likes to sit on the perch at the window and watch the fat fluffy snow flakes fall. I wonder if she thinks they are feathers and a flock of geese have started to molt somewhere up in the sky?

Actually, I live in town, but the St. Lawrence River isn't far away. And the Parkway (which goes up to Brockville, Ontario) is the scenic route, which runs beside the River. Beautiful!

We saw some wild white swans on the River, today, on our drive to Brockville, for my doctor's appointment. And J. spotted ducks flying in a V on our way back home.

It snowed all day Tuesday and it was odd watching it as the flakes were hard to see or view. INVISIBLE FLAKES? The grass and streets and roofs and the tops of cars were all covered in a fine thin faint layer of white stuff. Yet the trees and everything else looked clear or clean and this morning you can barely see any snow at all so it was a lousy snowfall.

I LOVE IT!

Guess what?

Yeah .... it snowed last night. Everything has a light coating of white crappola on it ... the streets and sidewalks are bare and the sky here is blue and bright so I am hoping that's the end of that. I have 10,000 things to do today and I don't want to be slip sliding away or trying to dodge drivers who can't handle slippery roads.

Last night I saw a car sliding sideways down a ramp to the highway and it couldn't come out of the slide so he just continued to slide sideways allllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way down the ramp onto the NOT busy highway. "phew!"

I yelled "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" the whole time I watched him slide .... then I decided not to use the highway and decided it was time to go home. I didn't need to go anywhere that bad!

BEGONE yee white icy crap ... we don't want ya here!

It's been really windy here today. We have had some sort of weather warning regarding snow but to be honest, except for last year, we never really have it that bad. Our country just comes to a stand still whenever there is a sprinkling of snow

Rain and snow and ICY crap is predicted for later today, the way the sky looks now it could be sooner then later.

I will hold my disdain and mumbling grumblings for when it hits here ... soon. At least its slightly mild out.

The Weather forecast for my area is for light snow -- but I hope that the flakes stay v-e-r-y light, or like Mr. Peeper's style of snow -- invisible. I want to convince J. to take me to the bank -- so I can include some real Christmas money in a couple of Christmas cards. AND this is my style of Christmas shopping these days, it seems.

Do you realize that there are only 7 days until Christmas? *sighs*

And I have a Nightmare Before Christmas party planned for Thursday (Dec. 20th) afternoon. It's a family get-together where we will nosh on snacks and watch Nightmare Before Christmas before Christmas. AND I can pass on my $$$-filled Christmas card gift to my son + daughter-in-law, while they are visiting.

So, I didn't discuss much about the weather, except that I would like the day to be clear for Bank parking. (I don't drive, so it's all up to J.)

Take care all, *hugs* Sweet Parakeet

UGH .... Christmas is almost here and with that the following NEW YEARS and the end of 2018. I don't know where this year has gone .... time just flew past which may be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

I hope you get to the Bank without bad weather or snow and find a good parking space ... your Xmas gifts of cash sound nice and I'm sure your family will be happy to spend an early holiday day with you on Thursday with yummy noms of goodies and watching the Nightmare before Xmas.

In the meantime its a balmy -10C here but clear, its suppose to go up to 6 or 7C tomorrow which suits me fine as shopping I must go.

Bring on New Years ... I need a drink.

Aye, J. was able to find a good parking space behind the BMO - Bank of Montreal. It was snowing, and J. was cursing (at the traffic) but I got the errand done, with J.'s gracious help. This forum regular (me!) has mobility issues (I require the use of a cane or walker) and J. is often angry at the weather, as this could affect my balance in a rather bad way.

Today the weather is cold, - 4 ℃ but it feels like -9°. It's sunny, but I'm glad to be tethered to my laptop's keyboard, and not venturing outdoors today. 🎅

J. also found a box of decorative snowflake Christmas cards, that we had stored in the hall closet -- and will make a fitting enclosure for Christmas money. 💲💲💲

AND speaking of New Years, our elderly neighbour, Barb, has requested -- nay, ordered (well, she thinks so!) for J. and me to spend time with her on New Years Eve. However, I patiently explained to her over the telephone that we go to bed early, so it's a no-go! 🍷

BUT I heard the distress in her voice, so I compromised and mumbled a promise that we might come over New Year's Eve DAY for a quick visit. So, Mr. Peepers, as you say, " Bring on New Years. . . . .I need a drink."

Well its another nice day a lovely balmy 6C ... with slightly cloudy sky's but no snow or rain due so that's a good sign. Yesterday was a lovely day with sunshine out the wazoo and a temp of 7C - 8C ... it was a nice day to go for a walk to the LCBO. lol

It doesn't look like it will be a white Christmas here, the weather channel doesn't show any flurries wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy into next week. I can dig it, but it is nice to have a little or some snow on the trees and have that muffled quietness that comes with snow falling ... even on Christmas morning.

I will pretend its snow. I will shake Banana outside the window ... she is a molty mess and making me hoover every day a couple of times a day to keep up with her fluffy little floofies that are rolling across the flooooor. Damn soft feathers.

RAIN ... rain rain rain and more rain. All night it rained and all morning it rained and it will be raining with a little slushy snow later in the day. Damn rain. It's mild and overcast and gray and really foggy here ... I don't wanna do a thing today because rain makes me lazy and sleepy.

Time to have a nap? heh heh

Overcast and grey ... cold at -7C with the windchill. It was a little windy last night ... so windy that the fan to the stove started whirling, backwards from the draft blowing in the vent at the side of the house. Odd ... I should look into that.

It's saturday, 2 days before Xmas eve .... I'm not ready for the holiday season. Are you?

I got a great Holiday phone call from my sister, who lives in Ottawa -- and yes, she has piles of snow to deal with. But here in the mild Thousand Islands, it is chilly - 5 ℃, with a dusting of snow on the ground, but it is projected for snow to fall tomorrow on Christmas Eve.

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" ♫ ♫ ♫ comes true this year.

Would make Bing Crosby proud!

I guess I'm not really raging about the weather -- because I just stay indoors and keep warm. And -- if we can drive around safely tomorrow -- J. and I might visit with his daughter and his grandchildren for Christmas Eve dinner. 🎄🎁🎅

So, if the weather behaves, and J.'s arthritis does not pain him, we may take on the Holiday season with open arms!
