When I was working at Tim Hortons we were not allowed to say "Merry Christmas," but were encouraged to say "Seasons Greetings," and "Happy Holidays." It was felt that "Merry Christmas" was too exclusive -- a definite no-no. There's a lot of PC gone mad here in the UK and I won't express my feelings on it as it isn't the place but we aren't allowed to do a lot of things now and it's very disheartening. I'm not religious personally but my partner is so I understand his frustration when he's almost not allowed to express it at this time of year. I feel like we should be able to say whatever we want, it is Christmas
If it isn't offensive to celebrate other holidays then this certainly shouldn't be!
