Beautiful, sunny day today! Sweetheart was singing to the birds, and squawking at the crazy-loud lawnmower outdoors. Anyway, I got a chance to shift away from my laptop seat and take a little stroll with J. with my dependable shiny blue walker. We walked together to the corner postoffice, sat on a comfortable bench there, and then returned back home. My doctor has suggested that I try to get some walking in my day, to help with my sluggish circulation. So, not only was I able to tweak some CSS on an online profile of mine, but got a good dose of vitamin D, too! 💙

I'm happy to hear SH is singing and squawking and having fun with the sounds of summer ... do you have summer yet? I'm hanging out in the southern part of the province and its coolish here. I don't think summer has hit this part of the world yet.

Nice to hear you had a little walk and enjoyed some sunshine too. Keep up the good work ... it can only help and the sun is great if you have a good sunscreen to keep you protected while you get your vitamin D on.

The sun is shining ... there is a light breeze blowing. Lawn mowers are rumbling everywhere and people are pruning flowers and cleaning up the yards now that there is no rain on this Saturday.

There are parades and events of all types happening around the city and I'm at home working with a headache burning behind my eyes so I am laying low. I will swallow a few headache tablets and see if that helps ... maybe I will get out later and check out some of the things happening here.

Have a good day and enjoy the sunshine if you have it.

I didn't get outside today or yesterday -- yesterday I had a touch of the flu, but enjoyed watching Tom Hanks in CAST AWAY, with Sweetheart watching it with me. She commented loudly when one of the scenes showed Tom Hanks in a cave at night -- it was too dark for her, and was happier when the movie showed dawn breaking over the deserted island. Perhaps she thinks that I have control over the television content -- after all, J. and I switch the channel to her favorite STINGRAY smooth jazz channel when she is tired of having the news on, or when political commentary is broadcasted.

Banana is having a chat with some local friends ...

She's laughing and saying, "HA HA, you should live inside!"

I saved the picture of the indoor parakeet (AKA Banana) meeting with her wild cousin outdoors, with a pane of glass separating them, to show J. I think it is adorable! And J.'s previous pet parakeet would imitate wild bird calls. bringing these birds to his window, as well. AMAZING! 💟

It's raining .... again. Still ... always FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER.

It's damp and cool with temps of 16C .... I can live with it. I have no choice.

It rained all yesterday morning/afternoon ... then it cleared with threats of rain over night which didn't happen.

So today we will get the rain that didn't happen over night. Which kind of sucks because I have been asked to help volunteer at my mom's building that is throwing a Father's Day BBQ party. I don't like the idea of standing in the rain with an umbrella over the BBQ while it pours down on my head. The wind has really picked up here so its not going to be a light rain ... its going to be a torrential down pour which is never good when trying to BBQ with a couple of umbrella's either.

Wish me luck.

Soggy Luck.

More rain these days which leads to cool comfortable sometimes humid days ... I don't hate it. I haven't even had the air conditioning blaring all hours day and night YET. It's been perfectly cool in the evenings, so I guess I'm not really nagging or complaining.

All is okey dokey.

Okay its time for me to whine and complain and whine some more because its HOT! It's hot and my fat arsed budgie keeps jumping on my keyboard and making me have to retype and correct all the little tippy taps she's making while I try to type and post that its HOT out there.

Summer is here ... I have the air conditioning blaring because its sunny 29C which feels like 35C here. I guess its about time the heat arrived here it is 3 days before July 1st and we actually are feeling some real heat for the first time. In another 6 weeks it will be cool again and the Canadian National Exhibition will hit Toronto and the nights will be perfect to sleep without air conditioners blaring at us.

I suppose I can wait out 6 weeks ... I suppose.

Summa's here ... with hot temps and humidity. I'm living in Air Conditioning bliss everywhere I go. Oddly its nice at night and we don't have to crank up cold air to sleep here. Today is an overcast day with threats of rain off and on and humid temps later in the day....... yup. Summmmmma is here.

32C with the heat and humidity today. YUCK!

Time to invent that air conditioned suit I need to use to get from the car to the door of the office or the house or the store. Yup... the hell of summa is officially here. Luckily Banana has figured out that popsicles are a great way to keep cool because every time I am chewing on a popsicle she comes for a little bite or nibble and has a freak out when the cold hits her beak and tongue. She dances around and freaks in excitement. Clearly birbs don't understand COLD treats.

Stay cool if you are suffering through this current heat wave.

Summer is in full swing here with temps all over the place making me a sweaty pile of goo when I have to venture to the car to the office to the store to the house ... rinse and repeat.

It's sort of a strange summer because it started late ... we had cool comfy temps all of June and then it started to get really hot in the first week of July. We missed a month or more of summer. Sort of a shame because August is usually nice an has cooler nights .... global warming is fake news right?

Stay cool!

I'm thinking summer would be perfect if we didn't have High HUMIDITY! Am I right? Maybe? Maybe no.

I dunno .... I can't think because I'm sweating so badly and my head is pounding ... but its nice and sunny outside!

Hot Hoomid and soggy with a ton of rain and lots of thunder showers predicted today. I don't like it but its gonna happen whether I like it or not.

Banana is enjoying sitting in the window while she tries to lick the raindrops that are on the outside of the glass. Did I tell you my birb is a little stoopid? It's okay ... I still love her anyways.

The GTA has been deluged in a mess of rain and water that caused basements to flood and cars to be swamped in water in the downtown core as well as the highways. It's crazy the amount of rain that fell here yesterday and last night and is due later today and allllllll weekend long.

Of course its going to rain this weekend ... ain't it always the way. Hope you can stay cool and aren't sweltering in these horrible hot humid temperatures. Summer ... UGH.

4 ... count em ... FOUR! Beautiful sunny comfortable summer days where you didn't go scrambling from the car to any air conditioned buildings in 3 seconds. It's been a perfect work week as far as temperatures are concerned. Air conditioning hasn't been needed at night to sleep. It's been just PEACHY KEEN!

Rain tomorrow but I don't mind ... it usually doesn't rain all day here anyways.
