September means cooler weather especially at night and possibly a nice hint of Indian Summer which is always welcome, except that Banana is molting and shedding her skin right now. Not really shedding her skin just a couple or couple hundred of her 6000 odd feathers. It reached a whopping 12C here last night which means a blanket?

Where has the time gone this year? I've been busy busy busy and somehow feel like its going too quickly ... 2020 is right around the corner.

UGH ....

It's HOOOOOMID, I don't really enjoy humidity but I have a couple of beastly large rex begonia's growing in a spare bedroom that are loving this weather and thrive on humidity. I might have to cut them back they are getting so large and too tall...... I might trim em. I might not.

I call them TRIFFIDS .... I wait for them to start yelling, FEED ME SEYMORE. I will run away ... run away real fast when that happens.

Rain is predicted for the next 4 days/nights. Rain and high temps ..... what the??????? I guess its okay because with the rain we will be getting higher then normal temperatures making it feel like we are in the midst of a hot sweaty humid summer again. Alright.

Could be worse, Dorian messed up with the Maritime's and brought some SNOW? WHAT THE ???????

I'm building an ARK ... where can I get some animals 2 by 2? I have a crazy hen budgie and need a crazy cock birb to match with her. I don't know if I can deal with a couple of panda's who only mate one day a year. How much poop do panda's poop? So many questions.

This rain is never ending ...... SIGH

Hey you .... long time no see your text here! I hope you are doing well!

My sis in law is in Edmonton and said its been cold and miserable there without much of a summer. We had a bit of a summer but I think the lack of it will predict the nasty winter weather they are saying we are going to get. We are already moving into Autumn with chilly frosts and the leaves are changing on the trees around where I live.

SIGH .... I suppose we are not going to have an Indian Summer this year.

Rain rain rain and more rain. It's sunny early this morning but cold and there is rain due in a little while.

It's official ... I need to go to the bank and get some money to build me that ARK. Banana is happy because I will have to find a mate for her. Where will I ever find a pterodactyl?

Guess what? It's raining ... still. I am thinking this might be spring. I don't remember having this much rain during the beginning of our springtime. But then I don't want to scroll back and call myself a liar.

We might have nicer weather later this afternoon so I will wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and hope for some nice sunshine.

It's not raining ! WOOOOOO HOOOOO! It's close to 9am and I can see the bright harvest moon in the bright blue sky even though a chunk of it is missing. It was spectacular to look at over the weekend.

We are due some nice days with sunshine for the rest of the week and then I shall clean up the furnace and air filters and cover the air conditioner after its vacuumed and set away for the winter with its cover. Yup ..... autumn is upon us and I can't say I am too sad about it. I love this time of the year. Sweaters or hoodies and nicer warm meals that put some flab on your butt or stomach. Mmmm fall squash and potatoes and all that stuff.

The heck with salads!

Still whining and nagging about the weather although its actually nice and sunny out with a slight breeze. A few people are still sporting shorts and tees and looking happy about it, while I glance out the window to see a few people wearing WINTER COATS. Those folks must be broken and their temperature gauge is borked.

It's going to warm up for the weekend here and get nice and toasty in the 80's F. They are predicting 28C = 82F. This will be interesting to see, maybe I was too hasty about cleaning up the air conditioning system and wrapping it up and getting it ready for fall? Hmmmmm.... we'll see.

Well ... it was a MISTAKE to shut the air conditioner system off and covering it with its protection cover. As well as cleaning up up the furnace putting in the new filter getting it ready for the cooler weather ... it was all a big whoppin MISTAKE. It was 29C or higher and felt like 36C. Not fun.

It was so dang hot here yesterday that I needed the air conditioning on but I was too lazy to go out and unwrap it from its cover so we had to deal the heat using a few room fans and ceiling fans. I finally caved in and said LETS GO TO WALMART its cold there. We will stand around in the freezer section with our heads in the displays and pretend we are looking for something.

Today is expected to be pretty much the same ... I have invited myself to a friends place who has air conditioning and a heated swimming pool ... not that we need to swim in heated water but we might as well enjoy the last of the summer heat in luxury.

Tomorrow rain is expected with much cooler temps ... so we will be back to normal and I will break out the sweaters and hoodies again.

Tis suppose to be a nice day until later this afternoon when we are suppose to have some rain and thunderstorms ... I don't mind thunder and lightening. I will make popcorn and share it with the birb. I say share but she doesn't know the meaning of the word, she tries to steal the popcorn I try to put in my mouth while she is trying to rummage through the bowl at the same time.

She's a pig!
