13C feels like 11C ... its dark gray and overcast. It's gonna rain sometime today and last all day and night. I am gonna do a whole heck of a lot of nothing today with the rain. Crank tunes loudly and maybe read a book ... maybe I will have a long long long nap.

I need to call my neighbors cat in to visit with me ... his name is Teddy. He's a big ole fluffy gray kitty who loves me for some reason. (could it be he loves me because I feed him shrimp?)

Teddy comes in my house and crawls up on my lap and kneads on me and purrs while giving me sweet kisses. Teddy is heaven ... when Teddy visits I always lay down in my bed and he hops up kneads on me and curls up next to me and sleeps with me for a few hours. The warmth and purring and kneading melt my heart and make me wanna get a kitty. I'm sure Banana the budgie would LOVE me to get a kitty.

NOT ....

18C LIES .... feels like 18C ... more lies .... hooooooooomidity 88% ... Not lying. It's pouring buckets out there again today. Why are we getting all this rain NOW? We needed rain so bad this summer especially for the farmers in Ontario and we got BUPKIS ... now we are getting a deluge of rain and we don't want or need it.

Typical .... it's cold and damp and I am moody because of all the dark soggy sky's.

I guess its better then snow. I guess.

16C feels like 15C ... hoooooooooooooomidity at 100% .... its kinda muggy. It's sunny which is odd, we had a little rain earlier and boy oh boy did we have some PEA SOUP TYPE FOG all night last night till the early morning when the rain washed it away. Cars were struggling in the soup to make the road way and not drive on sidewalks or lawns.

Its suppose to get up to a balmy 25C today and then the rain will hit us in the later evening. That's okay ... one last day of sunshine and heat and perhaps little hooooomidity will be a delight. Enjoy whatever weather comes your way today ... I hope its as nice where you are as where I am.

7C feels like 4C, hoooooooomidity at 70% .... yesterday, yes lets chit chat about yesterday........... it was HOT.... humid and balmy and awesome and there was sunshine. WOO HOOO .... It got up to 28C here in parts of the GTA and it felt like 33C and hotter. It was BLISS. I lay out on a lawn chair with a friend basking in sunshine and a slight wind and breeze and watched the clouds rolling in during the later part of the afternoon as you could tell we were in for a whopping storm.

And what a whopping storm it was, lightning and thunder and wind and torrential downpour that flooded a neighbors basement and all that great stuff. It was fun watching the rain and deluge and seeing the weather develop over a few hours of time ... the clouds were epic.

Do I sound amused and excited? I was .... I experienced Indian Summer .... in one day. Typical ain't it? 2020 .... go figure.

Today ... meh. It's not sunny but there is blue-ish type sky's out there hunkering down beneath a pile of gray dark clouds coming my way. They say its not gonna rain and we will have some sunshine but I think them weather peoples is lying ... its gonna rain.

6C feels like 3C ... hooooooooooomidigy at 83% .... Winter is a comin. 20 minutes ago I was complaining on the phone to a friend it was gray and overcast and my arthritis was killing me from the damp and cold. I still have the arthritis from the damp and cold but its sunny and bright with beautiful blue sky's and white fluffy clouds everywhere. Stupid weather ... doesn't know whether its coming or going.

I will shut up now and quit complaining ... it just might be a lovely day!

I vaugely remember sitting out on the back deck last week with J., looking at the changing colours of the trees, and listening to tunes on the transister radio (yes, J. still has one of those!) The day was sunny + sweet. Now, today, the outdoors is sunny and the maple tree leaves are green-golden -- very painterly -- but I am happily INDOORS with the little space heater humming along, making it cosy for sleepy J. and me.

Too much to do and so little time ... everyone is in a rush to get munchies for Halloween night. I was in Walmart and all they had was crummy licorice nibs and a ton of mini bags of chips. BORING ....

Today it was sort of sunny for the morning and early afternoon but it looks like the cloud cover is coming in and rain might spoil the trick or treater's fun tonight. It's 6C but feels like 3C with humidity at 53%. I had to laugh at a bunch of little kids who were so chatty to me yesterday where I went in my travels to shop for a few friends. All the kids told me what their costumes were going to be and how much candy they were looking forward to scoring.

It was a sweet type of innocence I needed to see and hear in a crazy day and time of 2020 ... I hope everyone has a safe Socially Distanced time tonight and the little kids have the joy and fun I had when I was a kid on this amazing night.

Trick or Treat!

7C feels like 3C hoomidity 63% which ain't bad considering its been raining forever! It's a crappy soggy day so I will just sit here and eat a bowl of Halloween candy in protest .... so much candy and so little trick or treaters came by last night. Their loss ... my stomachs WIN!

Happy November !

2C feels like -3C .... humidity 50 something WHO CARES! It's sunny and lots of fluffy clouds blowing around in the windy windy blustery breeeeezy day! We had wet flurry's last night and there was snow on the car this morning.

UGH .... its that time of the year again. Too soon though .... I was just checking this weeks weather and its suppose to get crazy warmish and then get - HOT on Wednesday, the day after the election in the USA. That sounds ominous.

The weather will start at 15C and crawl up to 20C on Monday November 9. I shouldn't be surprised, 2020 has been a bad dream and confusing from February this year on.

SERENITY NOW!

Hey there! J. and I had a quiet Halloween, but a memorable one. J. took a creepy mask and draped a yellow raincoat on a patio chair on the back deck, to make it appear as if a ghoul was visiting and enjoying the back deck. (Our back yard faces a much-used dirt lane-way alley) And he took over a couple of fun-sized bags of Cheezies for the little girl who lives next door to us. (J. likes Cheezies because we can both enjoy them after Halloween is over.)

And as for liquorice Nibs -- this has always been a childhood favourite of mine -- especially the black sort. These days, with my diabetic diet -- I require low-sugar candies, and J. seems to be able to locate my faves at the Dollar Store.

Although it might seem like a specialty candy for Halloween, I enjoy low-sugar Black Cat Liquorice any time of the year! (Goes great with a glass of sugar-free cola!)

And I wore my specialty Halloween embroidered vest + Dr. Plague mask (taking turns with the wearing of the mask with J.) while I watched Halloween movies on TV -- Tim Burton's animated Corpse Bride and a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

As you might guess, I am more about fun, campy Halloween content than dark, violent shock-schlock of the mainstream horror genre.

Any way you see it, I had a spooktacular Happy Halloween 2020, and I hope you did too!

I remember those horrible black cat licorice thingy's ... I always gave them away to the other family members as nothing black licorice flavored will grace across my lips. GAG GAG PUKE. lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the day and were a little spooky and got to do some movies and enjoy the day.
