1C feels like -4C its hooooomid at 86% and its snaining out. Big wet ploppy fluffy-ish blobs of snain. I want it to go away. GO AWAY NOW.
I AIN'T READY FOR THIS YET.

1C feels like -2C ... not really. It snow/sneeted/snained all day and night and there is nothing on the lawns or road to show for all that effort. Oh well ... I won't be upset about it. I don't have to shovel what isn't there. I might throw a little salt around though ... just in case there is some slippery stuff on the sidewalk. I wouldn't want my Mail Carrier to slip slide away.

Suppose to go up to a balmy 6C today. I might go for a walk about. MIGHT .....

1C feels like -3C ... 75% hooooooomidity and its gray and dull out.

I am thinking of paying a few hundred dollars and buying a SAD lamp ... my Physician said it would be good for me since I work from home and its dark and gloomy here in the big ole city. He said to put it on for 20 minutes a day for a couple of weeks ... every other day.

He also said it would be bright ... like GOD was standing in the room.

I think my Physician needs a sad light and a dose of something to make him not so crazy. RIGHT?

5C feels like 3C ... its pouring buckets out there and should continue to do so all day. If that's not depressing enough its going to turn into WET SNOW in the wee hours of monday/tuesday and then snow off and on all day tomorrow.

What's the weather man trying to do .... KILL ME? Sheesh.

0C feels like -4C ... not really cold. It's hoooomid at 97% because its snowing and raining at the same time and the world outside my window is covered in WHITE sticky snow/sleet stuff. It's actually quite beautiful only because its the first snow ... I will hate it in a couple of hours when it turns to freezing icy sidewalks and roadways which will make people accidentally drive their cars into my car and scratch and dent and bruise it ..... slip sliding away.

As long as they don't jump over the sidewalk and run me down I can deal with it. I guess.

So, is this SAD lamp some sort of a mood-changing lamp? If it works, do you think this forum topic will be terminated? I mean, crusty old Mr. Peepers becomes giddy, enthusiastic renewed Peppy Peepers, and is not bothered by Toronto weather? That would be uncalled for!

Light The Way
J. recently found incredible joy with his purchase of 3-in-a-package Bell & Howell battery-powered high-intensity LED mini lanterns -- useful for lighting up dark corners of a room, or for hydro-electric storm outages. But J. uses one for night surveillance -- he puts one in the window overlooking the back deck to keep watchful intruders away -- or pigeons -- take your pick!

I guess it's for whatever makes you GLAD!

A SAD lamp is for Seasonal Affective Disorder ... I suppose its due to being in less amounts of sunlight due to fall and winter months changing and getting dark so much earlier each day. A lot of people don't do well without that bright sunlight and vitamin D that we need and crave all year round so they made these huge freaking light sources to give you the boost you need in the fall and winter.

GOD LAMPS ... I call em. I will still be moody crusty miserable hates HOOOOOOMIDITY weather person Mr. Peepers but I will be able to blame my moods on the God Lamp.

I just hope the thing doesn't give off any heat as well as the light ... I don't want any light source to warm my beer up while I'm sitting there basking in my daily glory of god.

3C feels like -2C ... its bright and sunny and there is blueeeeeeeeeeee sky's everywhere and the snow still looks kinda nice despite it falling off most of the tree branches. I was debating going for a walkabout but the sidewalks aren't clear so theres no sense trying to kill myself for some fresh air. I will try tomorrow ... its suppose to be warmer anyways.

Perhaps all this white stuff will fade or melt away by then? HOPING.

6C feels like 2C ..... its raining. All the snow we got the other day here has melted. This is good. Its not exactly pouring down buckets so I might make the attempt to wander about for a healthy brisk walk .... to the beer store. Gotta get some exercise.

HA!

3C feels like -1C ... its dull and gray out and was raining earlier. It's suppose to rain more today and then turn into slushy snow. YUCK ...

Although I can't really whine and nag or complain too much about our winter weather. We've gotten off lightly so far. Of course its only just begun.

-2C feels like -6C ... its kinda sunny out there and there are loads of fluffy clouds. ODD .... its suppose to be winter white stuff climate time. We didn't get the wet flurry's they called for last night and thats okay with me. Anything I DON'T have to shovel is fine with me. Just fine and dandy!
