Eppa

So I'm going to the Edmonton Pet Parrot Association's monthly meeting tomorrow and I'm super excited!
It'll be my first time going and I'm going to bring Hermes.
They are apparently doing a "Parrot Quiz" this month (last month they made bird toys).
My Aunty will be babysitting my son too so I won't have to watch him plus Hermes and I'm SO EXCITED!

I can't wait to see what kind of birds people bring, especially if anyone has a Grey or Eclectus or something!

Anyways, just thought that I would share in my excitement, lol.

Well, if you need to study I'd say study but if you think you can spare 2 hours I'd say go!

Nothing wrong with canaries though that's all most people seem to care about now. Who has the best canaries for shows

Yeah most of the people in the UK who keep birds either show/breed canaries or budgies. That's about it

Weird... I wonder why! I love Budgies but I would have thought that more of the larger birds and such would be shown more.

I didn't realize that either, I guess canaries are more popular than I thought. I really love the pink ones, sorry I don't remember there name, but here there $180 or more.

Red Factor? I've been looking for them for ages now! I can never get hold of them. I don't want any from this awful pet store by me, due to the price mainly. They're in the auction sometimes for about 8 each so I'm keeping my eye out I'd like some varigated red factors

Yes a red factor. Here I've seen them at petco and petsmart, so pretty. I also like the orange ones, they're really bright.

Ugh, no meeting for me tonight.
I drove ALL the way to my Aunt's before the meeting to drop him off at her house so that she could watch him. Well, I forgot the diaper bag at my house (25 minute drive away) so I couldn't leave him with her or he'd starve (he doesn't eat formula at all).
I also didn't want to bring him with me to the meeting because I had no diapers or anything with me.
GAH, I was SO looking forwards to this! It would have been my first night out without Mason in over a month.
Well, next month I guess....
