My Feline Children

Since I haven't posted pictures of my cats in a long time I decided to share some photos of them I took tonight! Casey's post of her cats reminded me that I had wanted to post some of mine, lol.

Here is Peata, my "dog-cat". He is 3 years old and I swear he thinks he's a dog since when he was younger he only lived with another cat for 8 months and then just lived with dogs after that. He is my big squishy man cat and you can do anything to him and he doesn't care. You can hold him like a baby, hang him upside down, pull him across the floor by his tail (don't worry, doesn't hurt him), anything and he just lets you. His name, Peata, is the Gaelic word for pet. He used to be super chubby but ever since we got Freya he has slimmed down to a healthy weight and he's gotten way more playful! He is my cat but he has fallen in love with my Fiance and follows him everywhere and it kinds of makes me a bit jealous.

This is Freya, our kitten! She is 10 months old and is our little she devil cat who is part racoon! She's a crazy little thing like kittens tend to be and she is part racoon because she will go in the garbage and take things out and carry them in her mouth to run off with. She is obsessed with bottle caps and will steal them and carry them in her mouth to go play with as well. Freya back talks like a little kid when you tell her off; if she is doing something she isn't supposed to be doing (like breaking stuff...) and you say her name in a reprimanding way she'll jump away from whatever it was and go off with a long retort of yowls and meows telling you how she is innocent while she walks away ever so casually. I love Freya but she is a brat and is definitely Mike's cat. She loves everyone though, even the vet and will run up to you as soon as you come in the house!

Those are my cats, and I hope you enjoyed their photos!

They are like brother and sister! They have their arguments but 90% of the time they love each other. They play with each other all the time and chase each other all over the house, lol.
It helps though that Peata thinks he's a dog and he loves EVERYTHING. Every cat he's ever seen he tries to be friends with, even dogs he'll go right up to, I don't think he knows how to hiss, LOL.

Yes, in his 3 years of life I don't think I have EVER heard him hiss, even when meeting a new dog he wasn't sure of.
I love how good they get along, they're like big brother and little sister!

Out of the 7 cats a few of ours are related. Bob is Tank and Rocky's mom and Mara n Floyd are brother and sister. Those two drive me CRAZY haha. They constantly chase each other and get into bother together
