I don't know, good question. It seems on here, most are female. I do know one man at Bracken who has 32 cockatiels.

I know there are about same amount of bird breeders in both sexes, but just seems like less male owners. This is the same over at Talk Budgies too.

Mostly I see females, or husband & wife owners but the wife is the more active, talkative one The wives are the ones who seem to enjoy bird clubs and forums more, so I don't know! Perhaps we're just more social ;p

My favorite breeder is a guy, but mostly I have noticed it is women or couples I think birds are the animal most like kids and women seem to like that, where men wnat a dog they can rough house with and not have to spend 10hrs a day with. Just a thought.

Dunno!
I think men are more likely to have bigger birds or more than one.
But dont like forums?
When I used to go to bird club it was mostly men.
Women like to talk more!

I always thought you were a guy, dunno why. Some people I'm not too sure about on here because they never say their real name for whatever reason and I would feel WAY too rude to ask

IMO, in the UK there are WAY less women who own birds!
