my thoughts go out to you USA

My thoughts and prayers are with the people and their familes hit by the recent tornadoes in the USA.

I hope no one on here is affected.

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts. We live about 25 miles from St. Louis, Missouri. Had real high winds the past few days, but no tornados in this area. Branson, a tourist town with lots of music theaters, was hit and some of the theaters and motels suffered damage. Branson is about 4 hours from here. We're right on the border with Illinois, and they had quite a bit of damage. It's so sad.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers!

We have tiny twister here and they're scary enough.
I cant imagine how frightening it must be.

I'm not sure I remember correctly, but I think 30+ people were killed over two days and in five states. They found a baby, alive but in critical condition, in a field in Indiana. They don't know how she got there, but her parents and sibling are all dead! Some towns have been wiped out completely! People are just wandering around where their house used to be, picking up small item -- a teddy bear or a broken picture. It's so sad!

It's so sad. Apparently the baby is in extremely critical condition. No one knows for sure how she got to that field, it's some distance from her home, but most people think the tornado picked her up and dropped her in the field!

I've read about babies being found.
it's thought that because their bones are so soft they can withstand the impact!
Poor thing.
I hope that baby survives.
there's always hope somewhere.
I just cried when I saw it on our news.
I love watching storm chasing programs but when I see it hit a house or a town I always hope the people are ok.
After all things are replaceable. people and animals are not.
My friend went storm chasing and had a lucky escape whilst running from a tornado when it did a left turn, but dropped a cow on their truck!
She had multiple lacerations from the windscreen, and a large bump on her head.
And a new found respect for large storms.

The weather has been really strange here too, we usually have really high winds and wind damage, but thank god no tornado's, just earthquakes and lighting.

I heard on the news this morning that the little baby (her name is "Angel") was taken off life support, and she had twenty family members with her when she passed. They said both sets of grandparents are just about out of their minds, losing Angel, her two siblings and both parents all at once. It's unimaginable!
