our nocturnal pets

our chinchillas and our hedgehog are nocturnal so they sleep most of the day and we hardly ever seen poke a roo (hedgie) much during the day.

poke a roo was active last night so i took a few photos. today she got a bath/foot wash as her feet were dirty from running on her wheel (they poop as they run on the wheel... gross lol) and she needed a nail trim (only way we can trim her nails is to give her a bath as she wont curl up in a painful ball in the water.

well the chinchillas, kiki and chinta were active last night and i took some photos.

they are mother and daughter, you can tell them apart by their ears, kiki has some tears to hers from before we even bought her.

chinta

kiki

then they got a treat each

well they huff and puff and spike up in a round painful ball lol thats kinda funny in its own way... considering even if you walk by her cage she sometimes does it for no reason lol
