Worlds Greatest Shave!

Well, it's that time of year again over here and tonight is the night I become follicle free!

Don't worry there will be plenty of pictures and hopefully a video of the screaming!

I have signed up to do this year solo as my private thing to honor the battles being fought and some lost recently by my friends and currently being fought hard by my brother Robert (hence the name Bobby for my IRN, don't tell my brother though)
So tonight I am getting my legs waxed, my chest waxed and my head totally shaved!
But this doesn't mean it's too late for people to help and sponsor me if you are able.

http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/moparrowie
Is where all the details are!

I will post the before pics of the long haired git and of the Buddhist monk after when I get a chance

Stay safe my friends

All I need are MORE sponsors!

We all need to help to find a cure for this horrid disease that touches each and every one of us in one way or another!

So loosen the purse strings my dear brothers and sisters, every $ makes a difference!

You have guts!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get that scar? It's huge! My scars are just loads of little ones. The worse is a dolphin bite on my hand and it's not even bad now haha!

Oh the scar's nothing, you should see the hardware on the inside

You can probably tell I have had a varied and checkered life until now, well 4 years ago while running our own It service business I was working solo late. Very late, early in the morning kind of late!
At the time I would do these jobs solo, we had some business refurbishment work and with that sort of work meant I needed to move cables and stuff by lifting the desks then moving the cables, the only way to do that was to use the back of my neck, shoulders or head to do the lifting

Well on this occasion it didn't go so well. I ended up totally blowing out the C6/7 disc and doing some other damage~
I thought at first I had done my shoulder as that's where the main pain was, withing 48 hours I knew better and I knew we were in trouble!
Anyway, there were complications, operations, inflammations and irrigation's over the next 2 years!
The last was the real nasty one that totally benched me and forced the closure of the business and the financial woe we're in now. I'm still on really high levels of pain medication, my memory is shot, my vocab has been reduced dramatically and a few other issues I'm working through oh and I have put on about 25kg's

But I try to always carry a smile

Hope I haven't prattled on too much, the important message to come out of this tale is to always be body aware and be careful in everything you do.

There's not really any getting well though i'm afraid, it's all down to management and rehab to try and strengthen the core muscles that support anything and everything. Women, work on your pelvic core, get a physio that has had kids to teach you how and blokes, get your gal to show you how and never stop working those core muscles!

You will have a happier and healthier life!

Serious time over, now time for watching funny movies (normally called horror movies) and bed!

Thanks Mish, it's all good, I knew what you meant, I have gym tomorrow, and the way I'm feeling right now, it's not going to be pretty
