Chalkie pictures

Chalkie's cere is getting better, loads better! Thought I'd get some pictures today.

This picture is really creepy looking...

Damaging his flights flying at cats...

His tail is wrecked too, I can fix it though when I tether him!

Doing the splits

He finally let somebody other than ME touch him!!!! Jack manages to stroke him without him freaking out!!!!!

After cats again

Scritches!

My arm looks horrific from the angle...

He's so freaking pretty! He's bigger than I thought he was too. Gorgeous bird!

Chalkie is quite small for a Harris', not too bad for a male. He is a Peruvian though so they are generally smaller. He's really gentle. On my YouTube channel you can see a video of his scritches. He puts his head down for you to do it

My arms aren't too bad for scratches there! They look okay considering how much I get hurt. I love these bandages that stop you from scarring. I use them all the time haha!

I fell in love with Chalkie. When I went to pick up my Harris hawk I actually was getting a beautiful, well mannered female who was already taking fur n feather. I saw Chalkie, immature plumage, twisted legs and full of curiosity. He had way more personality. So even though he wasn't for sale I took him anyways. Best 250 I ever spent! He's wonderful. After 5 days he was free flying. They told me they couldn't train him.
