Body Mods!

Sooooo, I made one. :P

Rowie suggested making a thread about tattoos so I did!

Lets see everyone's ink! Piercings too if you want.

Here's mine.

My first tattoo when I was 18. Was horribly done but I don't regret it. It's cherry blossoms on my ankle.

This is my second tattoo based on a painting by my favorite artist, Kurt Halsey. It's a whale with headphones if you didn't figure it out, lol.

This is my last one that I got just over a year ago on my back. It's an Ankh. I don't have one of it healed.

Now you!

Haven't had a chance to show mine off for a while

Both are custom jobs from the same shop but different artists.

1st - A dragon based on the picture "dragons watchtower" by peter pracownik
Done a few months after my 18th birthday. Pic is from when it was pretty recent. After 2 kids it's not doing so well and needs a good touch up!

And for some reason my internet connection is so rubbish today it can't handle uploading 2 pictures in one post so here's my 2nd tattoo which I had done last year a few months after having my daughter (who's leg you can see behind me as I hold her lol!)

It's forget-me-nots (although done in the artists own style so look like cherry blossoms) and 3 fantasy butterflies which symbolize my 2 kids and my Gran who was in her final months fighting cancer at the time and has since passed away.

I'm a little annoyed with this one because I wanted them mainly hot pink blending into a rich purple and she has done them the opposite way around...but it's hard to see what someone is doing on your back LOL!

Thanks guys! I love my whale. The painting was in color but I decided to just leave it black and white. Look up "whale kurt halsey" on google and it should come up. :P

Beautiful ink!! I'm planning out my next ink and mods... I'm pretty well set that next will be my microdermal piercings, I want "wings" aka 3 below each collar bone. Then I want my big back piece and after kids a piece on my tummy. I also plan on getting a partial sleeve soon too, though I can't decide what! Right now I have 8 tattoos. There's my first one, a Romanesque woman with 2 macaws, then my geisha, my Grecian lady, my tattoo I got for Mizu, my linnie who died, and my ankh. I also have my Roman eagle and Goober tattoo, I'll get some pics and post them in a bit

I always thought face tattoos are really cool, but never brave enough to have it done, and my family and relatives would not let me come round to visit if I do.

Anyways, man, those are cool tats you guys got.

Daisy, your tat is style am telling ya, aint pathetic at all. I've seen some female with 1 tat on the forearm and it just doesn't go at all, looked like a chav they do.

Thank you. I know so many people look abnormally tacky with tattoos. They go get them done as cheap as humanly possible and make them look rubbish. And then people who get tattoos get discriminated against for being bad people! Psh! My others will be better. That one is about three inches on the ball of my neck.

Sort of, Daisy, it's my second newest And I know what you mean about people. I've been extremely lucky to have an artist who is both extremely talented and reasonable on price - he only charges $75 an hour and is has a very quick, light hand. My eagle and ankh only took an hour and were $75, Goober and my bird on the cherry tree were only $120 because of the color I was VERY sad to move and lose him lol Other than family, that's the biggest thing I will miss about FL!
