Jack flying Chalkie!

Chalkie has really fallen for Jack, something he has never ever done before. He only ever really tolerates others

The anklets go around his legs, then the jesses thread through the eyelets. Those are his permanent flying jesses. They get changed once a year. I hold on to them while out flying him in case a dog or something comes past and he gets startled. It's so he can't freak out and fly away. He usually has his mews jesses on which have slits in them to thread through a swivel, then the leash goes through the swivel so you can hold them securely. All that has to come off to fly though, hence why he has his flying jesses on in his aviary

That's awsome! They both look like they're getting along swell. I see Chalkie doing his bum shake too.

Thank you all

Oh gosh, the guys I've been with! I've only been together with Jack, Alex and John. John was just a no go. I stopped talking to him all together after we broke up. We were together for a year and a bit. I don't know why. I just was. Got fed up of his ignorance and how he just didn't care about anything but himself. Alex, we were always on and off but he's a good guy! I just thought we clashed too much. We're still in touch and he used to be on this forum as hyacinthalex but he's had a lot going on. He didn't really care for birds much but he has two red-fronted kakarikis. I wanted to take them back with me but they keep him happy. I miss them dearly but he does send me pics. Jack is like my perfect guy all together. He's attractive, caring, funny, willing to learn anything, clever, great fun to be around, always makes me smile and has taken a HUGE liking to the birds. He also has 7 cats, 2 dogs and a load of reptiles He's just great. He MIGHT be getting his own bird of prey when he goes to university and he's having Pebbles and CJ the baby lovebirds too
