Question What would you buy?

So as I have mentioned in previous posts.. I live in the middle of no where! I live on an Army base and it just so happens that my step father is the big boss around here so I can't get a job and my mom can't either (conflict of interest).

My mother is one of the most talented people I've ever known.. She can literally do anything. Sewing, painting, crocheting, or pretty much anything that has to do with crafting. I've been telling her about the high demand in anything birds! How people are always looking for a good deal on things.. I guess my main question is, if you guys wanted ANYTHING for your birds (toys, cage covers, painted portraits, anything really.. What would you like to see on Etsy.com for bird lovers? I'm just trying to keep my mom and I busy and maybe get a little cash in our pockets!

I'd pick portraits, but seeing as how I'm broke/unemployed... But good luck!

I feel your pain!! Same here.. Luckily I have a supportive fiance that takes care of me. Once I finish college, I'll be able to roll into a career (hopefully).

Thats kind of hard to say with the economy the way it is. I do some things similar and bird themed even but selling is really difficult, good luck.

Since the economy is the way it is right now I'd say she make something useful! Cage covers, fabric seed guards, toys, etc. I would definitely buy some! (I've been looking everywhere for a fabric seed guard that will fit Hermes cage but can't find one. )

I think cage covers and seed guards are a good idea!

I thought that was a good idea as well! She had a valid point about the cage covers though.. Some cages have very odd tops and she said unless the buyer gave her very detailed dimensions, it probably wouldn't look right!
