Talking new piercing tomorrow

Tomorrow I am getting my cheeks pierced. I am so excited. Hubby is taking me and getting it done for my bday next week. My usual Piercer closed because she was having health problems so I am going to a new shop. I feel like a newbie at this. I have used my old Piercer for ten years. So it is going to be weird going to someone new. But that is my excitement for tomorrow. I will hopefully get some pics up when I am done.

Congrats, I hope it goes well with the new piercer! I know how it is with Tattoo Artists and Piercers, can't just go to anyone!

Good luck on the cheek piercings as well, I hear that they are a hard piercing to heal, but they look great!

Ooo good luck. It's a piercing I'd never get (well I only want my septum anyways haha!) but I LOVE it on other people

It was a success.I absolutely love them even though I look like a chipmunk today. The piercing barley hurt. I was expecting it to be much worse. The Piercer was great he was knowledgeable, and he really put me at ease. It was still weird going to someone new.But I will be going back to them for the next one. I want my septum but hubby says no. He says he gets his tattoo before I get anymore piercings or tattoos. I will gets some pics up when I can.

Glad to hear it went well, it's always nerve wracking to go to someone new. i'm itching for a new tattoo or my dermals but I just don't know the area. There's certainly no one local here I trust, it's too small a town Can't wait to see photos once the swelling has gone down!

Thanks everyone, Daisy my septum really didn't hurt I had to have it done twice in the same sitting. The jewelry didn't follow through correctly. my most painful piercing was the upper hole in my industrial.

The 'rents won't let me get any tattoos or piercings. So I was thinking about getting a fake nose piercing or something. Not as good as the real thing, but still fun!

Abby, when I was younger before piercings we acceptable I rocked a fake nose ring hoop it was fun. People would just stare at me. Now the still just stare at me but for a different reason. Kids are the funniest because the will either stop and stare at you, or ask you all kinds of questions.

How do you keep your birds away from all those shiny piercings? Hector won't leave my wife's cartilage piercing alone...I just stopped wearing any.

In the UK it's usually called a scaffholding but if it is that then it's from the top of your cartilage to the other side with one long bar going right across it

The birds are always after them. It seems like they have radar for fresh ones.
I put a pick of my industrial up it is the long bar in the top of my ear
