now... the bat photos are poor... but taken at night, and theyre still better than ive ever gotten of bats in the past! so im happy with these







meet peanut, she is a female house sparrow who kept coming over to share some of our peanuts from our mcdonalds sundaes lol so she got named peanut

They're all brilliant It must be hard taking pictures of bats. I tried to with the ones in Jacksonville zoo and that was hard!

these were wild big brown bats and one little brown bat lol theyre fast and hard to see at night! but i gotta try to get better, i think i can with some patience and luck. summer is here so there'll be lots of bats to pactice with!

its fun lol but theyre like swallows and swifts.... theyre sooooo fast and small! and add night time, and theyre tricky to see.

I took one in high school too!

Bats: Sweet!
Butterflies: First four are red admirals, a mourning cloak (Camberwell beauty), question mark and another 'cloak.
US from Canada: "See the map they're hovering right over us/Tell you the truth it makes me kinda nervous" (lol)

i know what the butterfly species are i dont know them from the get go but i photo them and then id them with my book... i can ID some by heart but most i cant lol i like them theyre fun to photograph. these were 3 species ive never seen before.

Detroit looks pretty all lit up at night from our side, but its scary over there. its a whole other world. crime rate is ten times higher than ours! we dont really have homicide here, none really reported in over 50 years. but detroit, homicide is yesterday's news. we have the american news and thats all we hear about is homicide and other horrible things its scary over there

detroit is scary i feel bad for the good people who live there because theres no good end of town really you hear about crime from all ends of it. funny how two cities so close to eachother are so different lol

Poor Detroit-ians... ;~; I know, seems strange to think about...

Yay! I know a lot of butterflies, but not all! I know some trees, wildflowers, other insects, mammals, reptiles, amphibians but mostly birds. I'm usually in the mood to help with IDs, so don't be afraid to ask.
