New Tank, Yay!

I got a brand new 20 gallon long tank for Gaia today! She looks so small in it, it's crazy. Now her tank looks so bare, lol.

Anyways, here it is.

I need to get more stuff to put in it! Ha.

I think she loves it! Her belly temps on the warm end are perfect now that I have the slate in there too, it's awsome! Right now she is just splayed out on the slate snoozing away, hahaha.

Oh, and Shannon, yes now I do have a tank for Crabbies!! I might wait though and start off with a larger tank with the crabs. In a 10 gallon I'd only be able to have 2 crabs and I think I would want more.
Instead of the crabs I think I'm going to use Gaia's old 10 gallon for the baby Crestie I'll be getting in a few months. (Gaia's breeder has Crested Gecko eggs right now but they haven't hatched yet but are due to any day)

Looks awesome kayla!!! Gaia must love all her new space!!!! Cresties are adorable so be sure to post tons of pics if you get one

My mom wont let me have roaches in the house so Im stuck with annoying crickets lol I dont breed them though, I am starting a superworm breeding project for my beardie specifically but the leos will get the smaller worms too, much to my moms dismay but apparently crickets, superworms, and beetles are less gross than roaches!

Roaches are illegal here to keep so no roches for Gaia. I would love to keep Silkworms because they would be the best for her but apparently they are really hard to keep alive. Gaia loves them though.
I think she enjoys her new space, she isn't so cramped now.

Thats really cool, can't wait to see pics. Forgive me but which gecko was it that you said ate a jelly like substance and not crickets??? I am totally drawing a blank, old age is setting in on me

It would be so cool to have a big tank with lots of hermit crabs in it, you could even put in a waterfall (if you like that kind of thing). I was going to buy some yesterday, but 1. they didn't have any and 2. they wanted a lot for them. So I'll try and get some next month when I go back to the doctor and save some money too. Petco had this really cute tortoise I wanted but I couldn't get it and my IRN so, later on I'll get one.

Cresties make AWSOME pets, fantastic.

Shannon, Crested Geckos eat the jelly stuff, the brand is "Repashy: Crested Gecko Diet" (that's the best brand for them). Do NOT believe pet store people who say to feed them baby food.... As for the Tortoise thing, I REALLY wish I could get my Tortoise this summer but I'm having no luck finding anyone around here that breeds or has Russian Tortoises. Plus, I don't have the money saved up yet.

Lisa, 25 is a good price for a Crestie... the baby I'll be getting will be $75 from a breeder.

Great thank you, I thought it was crested, but wasn't sure.I'll start looking. I know what you mean, there are a few pets I want but I can't get them all at once so I have to prioritize

Exactly, one at a time for me. Mike is probably going to kill me when I bring up getting another Gecko because I technically promised him I wouldn't get any more pets until I started working again, or at least not until after summer.
