We LOVE the picture. I guess it is a signature picture or some such name. Obviously, I am illeterate regarding these computer things.
I say "we" because Roni is all over me trying to get to the picture. I would claim she is in love with Kayto, but, no, I know her well enough to know she probalby thinks it is HER picture. She is all about Roni. When all the other birds are saying, "Pretty bird" and "Pretty, pretty, pretty", I can always count on her to say, "Pretty Roni".
She is being a particular BRAT this morning. I say "particular" because she is ALWAYS some sort of brat. She can't comprehend that I might not want to concentrate fully on petting her. She is doing anything she can to try to force me to keep both hands engaged in that task, and the computer is her enemy. If I put her beside me near her treat dish, she tries dragging and or throwing the treats up onto the keyboard, as if I would let her eat there. She also attempts to sneak down there whenever possible, but I am on to her. I know she would break any part of it she could if given half a chance.
She is also really adept at "holding" my fingers. She can get one finger of one hand with one foot and a finger of the other hand with the other foot, and then she won't let go so they both have to stay and pet her. She is even capable of getting me "caught" in her feet and beak so that I can't get her off of me while she eats her treats! She is like the date with eight arms!
We do have some active members, but I wish we had more posts, too. I love the fact that this site is for all species of birds. I love hearing about species I do not have exerience with, and even more I like hearing about species I do have experience with but don't hear much about anyplace else, like the grass parakeets.
Alas, I have no influence on others, although I have suggested that folks from the Linnie Forum check out this one. A few have joined here.
I wish folks would post more information about the interesting things their birds do. I love reading stories about birds and their interactions with other birds, other animals, and people.
So I second Meghan's request.
