I was looking on here but I don't see any other caiques.

I don't have any though I am on a list for a future baby whenever I want to take the opportunity. That won't be any time soon though. Caiques are awesome parrots. Very similar to lories/lorikeets but without the liquid diet!

I got my first one for my husband. It is the only bird he spends time with and he asked for. I really didn't want one cause of all the bad stuff I have heard about them.

I got the second one cause I have fallen in love with them. And I wanted to watch the play together. They don't share a cage but they do get play time out of the cage together. They are so much fun. They are flighted but rarely fly. Prefer to stay on the play gym.
Twitter is my husbands bird and s/he says "Pretty Bird" Scooter does not talk and won't have a thing to do with my husband unless she is on the floor.
They are both about three now and have never really had any of the problems I have heard about.

Ya I haven't had to much trouble with mine. I got Bella when she was 6 months old, and I got Eddie when he was a year old. Bella will nip once and a while when she doesn't get her way. But I use a glove if she gets where she won't go back in the cage. Eddie is really sweet, I have never had a problem with him. Eddie says pretty bird, what, thank you & hello, Bella only says what & thank you when she wants to. I'm trying to teach them peekaboo and uh-oh. I love caiques, they are so sweet and fun.
