I need bird care articles

I decided that since the lady that I got Bogwitt & Shryke from does not have a computer and relies on what she reads in books for her bird care I would print out a bunch of bird care articles and put them into a binder so she can go through them and hopefully learn what she is doing wrong with her birds. I printed out a lot already and am going to see her at church tomorrow so if you have any articles that would be good for her to read can you post the link here. She has conures, macaws, cockatoos, a amazon and a pair of lovebirds.

What books is she reading? There are some very good bird books out there (ex. the Parrot Problem Solver). Personally, I prefer books over websites, because with web pages you get a lot of info (sometimes too much) but I feel it's all over the place. With a book, I find it more coherent and manageable. After gaining a good foundation with reading a book, I can look at all the web info and build on that base.

My issue with most books is that many are not up to date. For instance, I own 4 of the 'A Complete Pet Owner's Manual' books, one on cockatoos, one on macaws, one on conures and one on Amazons. In the conure book, there's a photo of a conure sat on top of one of those small open top cages with a dowel perch through the middle. In the cage are 3 more dowel perches and a mirror, that is all. Although there is okay information in there, I do think that even though they're fairly up to date books, it's not enough. An absolutely fantastic book that I think everybody shoudl own is Parrots for Dummies. Honestly, brilliant read!
