I find those blue Ekkies beautiful, too. My favorite mutation is the blue dusky conure. I wonder if they will ever become well established, like blue quakers.

I hope they do nanay they're stunning. And yeah the blue Ekkies are really nice :yesnod:

What beautiful birds!

I find it so humorous....I hear in the wild that birds born with odd mutations get treated badly by their flock mates, but here in our human world, we adore and treasure them! :)

If blue dusky conures ever became available for the pet trade, I would simply have to get one. I couldn't resist.

I love my normal colored grey and would never want a red grey. I do not like them at all.

I like the red grey and the grey greys haha
And yeah Abby, I hope to be getting an amazon (possibly mealy) next year with my partner - hopeful adoption that is haha!
And then I'm hopefully getting something else after I've finished school and done my exams next year so I'm begging blue and gold macaw at the moment :biggrin5:

I decided that if I were to ever get a macaw (which I'd love to have) I'd get a Blue and Gold Macaw. I would rather get a Hyacinth, but, seeing as those are quite more expensive, I think I'll just stick to wanting the Blue and Gold one for now.

Abby, have you considered a Green Wing? Honestly, if you like the mellow, gentle personality of a Hyacinth, the Green Wing is the next best thing. Don't get me wrong - B&G are great birds, but they're more moody, one person birds than Green Wings. If you socialize them well, they will be very gregarious friendly birds who love to be man handled :giggle:
