They are so freaking cute! If they weren't so loud I'd totally have one.

I was at my in laws the other day...they have a quaker... He used to like me, but as he has gotten older and I'm not over there much he now decided I was not his friend... He bites me, the little booger so now I usually stand back and talk to him. Well he is clipped and I was about a foot away from the cage... Before I could react, with no warning , he jumps ( he is clipped ) over to my shoulder... Now he will bite whatever part he gets hold of so I am not real keen on having him by my face, so I try to get him to step up and get chomped on my knuckle... The booger head... All the while I am talking to him trying to get him to talk to me... Nothing doing! All he will do is squawk at me... Until I say goodbye.. Then he very clearly yells goodbye to me about 15 times...I think I heard him whisper.... Don't let the door hit cha..... Lol

hahaha that's funny Parrotlet. Don't lose faith in quakers tho, if you have one of your own as pets they do love you back and will not curse the door to hit you on your way out .

It's not just Quakers that do that. Last night my sennie ran down my arm, across the couch and nipped my partner in the arm. She wasn't impressed.
