Talking Improving!

So I had an Epiphany when I was talking to the vet, I was trying too hard to fix a problem that had just started. And in doing so, I probably made it worse because I stressed her out so much. Soooo, I backed way off. I got a humidifier, passively helping her dry skin. I moved her cage so she would no longer see the door-way. And I treat her every time I leave the apartment to redirect her nervousness.

After a week or so, She has improved 10 fold!!!! She is even talking now

She is over preening less and less, she looks better and honestly seems so much happier.

Thanks for your help and support,
Zach

Glad to hear she's doing a lot better. Birds can get stressed easily. Perhaps she just has dry skin?

Perhaps, not sure. But I think I went all out and she definitely needed a more passive approach. I've never owned a poicephalus, and forgot how frightened they can get. Felix was so brave, Luna is such a different bird.

I'm happy to hear that she's doing better and even begins to talk.
