Skping the fids

Yeah you guessed it! I skped for the first time for the purpose of seeing my pets! Never had another reason to do it until now. I am away for a few days for a management conference and I have been so nervous about leaving everyone for the last couple months. It is my first time away from the birds. My husband knew how nervous I was and so he set up skpe on my laptop and I didn't know until now! So I am feeling extra in love with him because I was missing my babies and now I got to see them tonight Oliver my parrotlet gave me kisses thru skpe It was absolutely adorable.

I love skyping people with the birds Having bird on bird skype is even funnier! When Abby had her yellow streaked lory I was showing her my yellow streaked lory. Phoebe wasn't so interested in Jake but he was loving her!

My husband's away also and we FaceTime together. Jack just perks right up and bobs his head. He will jump down and get closer to the phone when he hears and sees my husband. It's really cute. I really think Jack misses him.

How wonderful I have a loving hubby like yours! So in case you both want to go away together see if you have bird boarding in your area. We went away together for 2 weeks. I worried in silence the whole time to find my birds we happy and well cared for.

It is so funny how smart birds are. Mina (linnie) starred right into the camera and was totally hamming it up into the camera. She could see my face and hear my voice and it was obvious she knew where the sound was coming from. My plet, the same. He even gave me kisses thru the screen. My dogs couldn't identify where my face was and the sound was. You could tell they heard my voice, but weren't looking at the laptop.

What's funny is when Skyler hears something from my computer speakers he runs to it saying Hi louder and louder then grumbles when the voice doesn't say hi back. Sky doesn't like the phone. I love these birds!
