I'm gonna be a parront!

My dad and I talked it over with my grandmother, and she said I can get a parrot! I'm going to be adopting a budgie and a cockatiel from a local shelter. They're both very tame and sweet. I'm extremely excited to finally have the chance to keep parrots!

I'm going to be picking my birds up from the rescue on Monday. The cockatiel's current name is Skeeter and the budgie's is Buttercup, but I'm at least changing Buttercup's name. I'm thinking they'll be Rocko and Spunky or Ren and Stimpy.

Oh a wonderful choice! Two birds are better than one. Makes the birds feel safer with another bird around. Can't wait to see pictures!!!

I'm leaving at 12:30 to go to the appointment at 1:00 to get the birds and proceed with the rest of the adoption stuff. This is like waiting for my local reptile show, but it's a million times worse.. Lol.
