good parrot documentary!
i was on youtube and came across this parrot documentary called Parrots- Look Who's Talking.
it really sums up how smart they are and why we love them as pets

Isn't it a great video Shelly. I have it on Video and DVD and loved it. It was shown on TV over hear years ago and I was able to obtain a copy of it.

I was practially drooling when I realized how big the budgie flocks were (and the cockatoo flocks!!)

Budgies are probably one of the most abundant birds when it comes to wild flocks haha

I saw a bit of Paulie when it was on Netflix. If I remember correctly, I got bored and stopped watching it. LOL.

So they aren't tame at all? You know you could try working with one! It would take a lot of time and patience but would be worth it!

semi tame as in they will only step on a perch and not my finger leon is the only one that will come on my finger. 4 of them are new to coming out, most currently, bowie (i took him out today!) and so i am still working with them. bobby is very nervous out of the cage and i have noticed that he is acting differently then i thought he would outside. i tried to get pickles on my finger and she ran off

I loved Paulie. Funny in parts and sad in others. But then I can cry with some tv ads. But anything with animals if there is a sad bit in it is sure to set me going.
