Did I already post to this forum that the white capped pionus Cannary and I evaluated for suitability as a pet has already found a forever home? She went to a good customer of the store. It was only one or two weeks after they moved her out onto the main floor. I had advised them to do that, especially because they had no small parrots available at the time. They have fewer birds in the store than I've ever known them to have. I was afraid, with the economy, that they were closing, but they said it was because of the breeding season, or lack thereof. At any rate, she is now in her new home.
I do not know what they are going to do with the yellow-shouldered amazon. He is very friendly, and was right from the start, but he is not sexually mature yet. Then and again, no baby they sell is sexually mature, either, so how they are going to react then cannot be evaluated with the birds they sell.
