Question my caique started to camp out on the other caques cage?

i let my birds all free fly for ours except the canaries for now because i am scared they would get hurt

I have 2 black headed caques and one is starting to camp and sleep out on the others cage

I never let them out at the sametime.

Do you think thats a sign he wants to live with the other one?

A lot of caique owners keep their caiques in pairs. They are known for staying tame even in pairs.

Let them meet each other for short periods out of the cage, chances are at the moment if there isn't any aggression now then there may not be any out of the cage at all. Birds are usually territorial and it seems like they're getting on. Caiques can either kill their mates or love them, or both! Very awkward little parrots

Ditto, coming out and hanging out together while you supervise closely should give you a pretty good idea of what they want to do and, if they want to live together, I would let them but I would make sure they have a big enough cage so they can have private space as well as two food bowls, two water bowls, two pieces of fruit, two greens, etc. so there is no bickering. If this works out and you see them eating peacefully side by side, you can start to give them one of each gradually, like just one green for a week or so, then one green and one fruit, etc. but I would always keep two food bowls (unless you do like me and use white paper plates for their food).
