Birdline Parrot Rescue Fire :(

Hey all, thought I'd bring this to your attention for those of you that might be able to help out!

The Birdline Parrot Rescue in Calgary, Alberta had a house fire this past week and lost 26 out of 32 of their birds!

They need any donation they can get to rebuild their rescue and to just get them back on their feet as well as help pay for any future vet bills, toys, supplies, food, etc.

You can read the article here Birdline Fire Article

And you can visit their Facebook page for updates here Birdline Facebook

So sad. This is indeed the worse nightmare of a bird rescue. Praying they get back on their feet soon.

It broke my heart when she said how many they lost. I can tell it is physically hurting her. So awful

Fire has always been my biggest fear. I don't know what I would do if this happened to me and my babies. I surely would die......I wouldn't want to live any longer. They are my life. I know this sounds weird but I would rather die with them then live without them........

My biggest worry is not being able to get out in time with my Son, let alone all of the animals. It wouldn't happen, I know that for sure.

What a terrible tragedy. I hate to think about what I'd do in case of fire as I move so slowly. I think I'd be like Ron, and rather die with them than survive without them.

John.
