Talking Guess who's getting a flight suit...!?

...Missy is!

I got my Dad sold on it and eased the idea on to my Mom yesterday evening. She's going to let me order it today! I'm so excited! Missy is very good about being handled all over, so hopefully training her to accept it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm getting one of these, but haven't decided on which color yet...

Has anyone else had experience with the flightsuit? What do you think of them? (Feel free to share any pics!)

I have personally never liked them myself, but I'm still happy for you hopefully she doesn't freak out too much!

Aw, she doesn't like it? Since you have one, I want to ask, just how strong is the velcro?

Haha, well thank you! I hope not.

Just put the order in! I ended up going with gold, since they only had her size in aqua and gold. I really wanted to get her something more feminine. >_>
But, oh well...I CANT WAIT FOR IT TO GET HERE! I've made a felt thingy of the same shape and color and hung it in her cage to sort of prepare her a little until I hang the actual suit in for her to check out. So far, she's shown no fear or hesitation of the felt one. She was playing with it outside of her cage earlier.
We've been practicing handling her wings and such, more too. She is SO patient and her level of tolerance is really something. (She always gets lots of scritches during and after) I do believe this little gal enjoys scritches more than millet!

Bless her. She seems to be a very well socialized cockatiel!

What a beauty you have there. Please let me know how you do with this flight suit on your cockatiel.
I'm actually considering a bird harness for my conure because I would like to take him outside now that the weather is nice and his wings are not clipped.
I was looking at the flight suit but, for some reason, it looks like it might not be as comfortable as the harness (maybe because there's more fabric and you also have to add a diaper...). I just wonder if the bird might feel hot in it?
Also it appears the harness is easier to put on. I am looking forward to your comments about it so I can make a better decision.
