Anyone have Plum Headed experience

I was wondering about the plum headed parakeet. I find all the asiatic parrots beautiful and I don't mind the hands off personality. I enjoy watching birds and when I had my ringneck, the occasional petting that was allowed and landing on my hand was more than enough for me. I cannot, however, deal with the ringneck screeching.

A while ago I had seen some plum heads for sale and I can't get them out of my head. From what I've seen, they are considered quiet, but was wondering if anyone has had any actual experiences with them. I've looked on youtube, but my volume is weird and I can get it really loud that even canary songs become much louder than the birds can sing.

So if you have ever dealt with plum heads could you tell me. Are they loud? Sometimes, never?

I've never known an Asiatic parrot be a screamer all together to be honest. My Alexandrines were very loud, but didn't scream often, and my ringneck barely made a peep. I'd say they'd be the same as an IRN in terms of noise levels but they're a little bit less shy when they hit maturity IRN tend to become quite nervy and don't want much handling, but from what I've known of the plum heads they tend to be a lot more relaxed

I have no experience with these birds, but I found an article for you.

All I read in German forums is that indoor keeping is possible, but they need much space, that means a big aviary, because they are rather large and active.
If you like to read a German article, please use Google translation:
