Fun Day in the Sun!

I finally got myself to carry ALL of my bird stuff downstairs and outside to clean my bird cages/toys/supplies. I took all toys, perches, everything out of the cages and cleaned them seperately, and then sprayed down the cages. I had all the birds in the flight cage in the sun, and I misted and sprayed down the cage along with them. They enjoyed the bath. It was very warm and I think they really enjoyed themselves in the fresh air while I washed everything. They also had fun talking to the wild birds. The sun also made their feathers look stunning! I wanted to take pictures but my camera's battery was dead.

I'm very happy about the warm weather and my birds are too.

They always do look better in natural sun light and they seem to love it.

that sounds lovely, made me a bit sad though cause I live on the fifth floor building with no garden, so me and my birds don't really have that luxury ....hehe, thanks for sharing that with us, nice to know you and your birds are happy outside in fresh air and enjoyed the sunshine.

sounds like fun!

Tippa, you could try harness training your conures and bring them outside for walks

I can't wait until summer break. There will be a ton more days like this.
