bar spacing for green cheeks

So i am thinking about a new cage and then putting my other one on craigslist. I thought i would get one with a play top on it. Can you folks help me out on the recomended bar spacing. The old one i have is 1/2 inch and worked great for my parrotlet but i would think that a conure might be able to go a little bigger. Help please.

Here's a link to Libby's cage - an A&E Conure Castle. The bar spacing is 5/8" and she does just fine with it. She really loves all the room, and that great big door is heaven!

I seen that last night jo anne, when i was looking at cages. I love that cage but it doesn't have the play top. There are so many more choices when you can go more than the half inch i had for the parrotlet. Thanks for your help.
