corner cages

Those of you that have corner cages, would you buy them again? What do you like and what do you dislike?

I was looking at those corner cages too. I showed the pics to my husband, along with the measurements. He figured it up and said Libby would actually have less room than with her HQ cage! Plus, if I moved it anywhere but the corner of our tiny family room, it would take up more space in the room.

I nixed that idea and went with the A&E Conure Castle -- she loves it!

So I would say if you have plenty of room and can get a really large corner cage, it might be fine.

Keep us posted on what you decide! (so many cages out there!)

Thank you.

I was wondering about that but hubby doesnt know how to do cubic inches. I think it would be similar. There is so much to choose from but i do have a price point i would like to stay under, i would like it to be bigger and possibly have a play pen on top. I love the cage for Libby, and have looked at it numerous times but i can't decide. I know i won't be able to talk the hubby into another one after this so it better be perfect!

Yes, there are so many to choose from! Libby's Conure Castle is really nice and really heavy duty! I think it weighs about 113 lbs.! My HQ flight cages weigh about 50 lbs.

Have you checked out http://www.birdscomfort.com/playtop_bird_cages.html
I don't know what your price limits are, but they have lots of playtop cages. This site is where I bought my two HQ flight cages. If you have the room, you should try to get one the size of the HQ flight cage. That size worked well for Libby.

I always say to get the largest cage you can afford and have room for -- your bird will thank you!

Keep looking, you'll find just the one you want!

I have a corner cage and I dislike it it was more money for less space plus you have trouble with the poop tray because it you try to take it out theres a hole, and because its a triangle they do one bar in the middle and so the poop tray is off balance and my budgies have learned to escape and its harder tov hang toys and and put perches in

Thank you Jo anne, i have looked at some on that particular site. I keep leaning toward a corner one but after Jessie's post she really brings up some good points. (thanks Jessie) I guess there is no hurry. The cage he has was new in December. My price range is no more than 350 and would like to keep it less than that. How about the skirts, does anyone have those and are they helpful?

I have the skirt helps to keep poop off the floor but then youve got to clean the skirt, I found for the price different cardboard works as well since mine will always sit on the top of there cage and poop in the same spot, I like the HG cages best ans the sort of square iron ones, I like my HQ because it doesnt have like built in dish doors you can open without going in the cage because my parrot can escape from these.

And no problem I mean the corner cage is nice for space theres just a lot of defects for a 500 dollar cage
